I saw something on TV the other day that suggested paper based advertsing will be dead by 2020. Can this be true ? |

Hi Stan,
Well..this is a hotly debated area.
I am sure you can open up a can of worms with this one !
I would say that in my local area of Aylesbury Thame and Oxford, that paper based advertising is still alive but maybe not quite so well !
It would seem from my contacts in the local media world that advertising revenues have seen a general fall of some 30% over the last 5 years.
However don't forget that all areas of advertising have seen a similar slump.
The fact we are all used to picking up a paper or magazine and reading it on the us, train, in the office etc. and that this is a habit in my opinion that will die hard, then it would seem that paper based ads are not going to go without a fight ! |
